Pulmonary Function Tests

The goal of our assessment and treatment plans is to care for your child and to enable your child to fully participate in every activity that he or she would like. We recommend that all children with asthma be seen at least twice a year, regardless of the severity of the asthma. A pulmonary function test is a useful test to assess the severity of your child’s asthma, as well as the efficacy of any medication being taken. At this visit, the provider will assess your child’s asthma and will revise the asthma care plan, if necessary and provide any refills.
