Dr.
Dana Crater moved to Southwest Florida with her family from
Charleston, SC, where she was in private practice for five
years. She grew up in Richmond, VA as the oldest of four
children, and completed college and medical school at the
University of Virginia.
She did her pediatrics residency at the Medical
University of South Carolina, in Charleston. There she was
chosen as Most Outstanding Third-year Resident, received the
Mitchell Rubin Research award for a published study she authored
on the rise of asthma in Charleston, and was chosen to be chief
resident. During her year as chief resident, she ran a
daily teaching conference, supervised residents in their
training, and worked as the attending physician in the Pediatric
Emergency Department. Her special interests include asthma
and allergies. |
